In observance of Lincoln’s Birthday on February 13, 2023, the Orange County Transfer Station will be closed. City residents are advised that garbage pickup will be delayed on Monday, February 13, and on Tuesday, February 14.
In observance of Presidents’ Day on February 20, 2023, The City of Newburgh’s non-emergency departments will be closed. There will be no sanitation collection on Monday, February 20, 2023.
The Sanitation Collection schedule is affected and changes are as follows.
Sectors with pickup scheduled for Monday, will be picked up on Tuesday, February 21.
Sectors with pickup scheduled for Tuesday, will be picked up on Wednesday, February 22.
There will be no bulk or yard waste pickup on Wednesday, February 22.
Thursday and Friday pickup are not affected.
