The Orange County Department of Health will be holding two Listening Sessions at the Activity Center, 401 Washington Street, Newburgh, NY 12550 on May 23 and May 25 beginning at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All City of Newburgh residents are invited to attend and voice their health concerns and ideas to help address health disparities and improve the community’s health.
Each listening session will last no more than two hours and include a brief introduction and PowerPoint presentation by the Health Department, followed by a community-led discussion. Health Commissioner Dr. Irina Gelman and her team are hoping to gather valuable feedback from the community relating to their health concerns and priorities at the listening sessions.
City residents can also complete a short Community Asset Survey (CAS). The CAS helps to identify the strengths and areas of improvement for the community. If you are unable to attend the listening sessions, please take the survey online at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/OCCommunityAssetSurvey.
