Delano-Hitch Recreation Park

The Delano-Hitch Recreation Park is 27-acre park that was donated to the City of Newburgh by Annie Delano-Hitch (aunt of Franklin Delano Roosevelt) in 1916. The park is located at 401 Washington Street and includes a baseball stadium, a skate park, an outdoor fitness park, one little league baseball/softball diamond, bocce courts, three basketball courts, an Aquatic Center, two playgrounds, horseshoe pitches, a soccer/football field, the Fast Pitch Softball Hall of Fame, and the multipurpose Activity Center.
