You must make an appointment to have items picked up at your home, by calling the Department of Public Works at 565-3297. Bulk Item pick-up is on Wednesdays - appointments must be made by Tuesday afternoon.
Cash prepayment can be made in person at the DPW, 88 Pierces Road. DPW personnel will visit and collect payments from elderly persons and handicapped persons without transportation.
The fee schedule for bulk items is as follows:

Monday Holidays
When a holiday falls on a Monday, the schedule changes as follows:
- Monday routes are picked up on Tuesday.
- Tuesday routes are picked up on Wednesday.
- Wednesday special bulk item pick-ups are omitted.
- Thursday and Friday routes remain unchanged.
