Funded by the Community Development Block Grant monies received by the City of Newburgh from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, this program offers businesses an opportunity to apply for small business loans in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.
Businesses can use the funds towards working capital inventory, machinery, equipment, emergency expenditures, start-up costs. Loans cannot be used to pay for taxes, water or sewer rents.
Applicants are required to meet HUD’s income requirements.
Proper documentation will be required (i.e., invoices, cost estimates and/or bids, etc.).
